Personality traits and suicide probability in children and adolescents with specific learning disorder

Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the personality traits and suicide probability children adolescents with a diagnosis specific learning disorder (SLD). 
 Materials Methods: Sixty SLD 60 without were included in study. K-SADS-PL (Kiddie Schedule for Affective Disorders Schizophrenia-Present Lifetime version), Wechsler Intelligence Scale Children-Revised Short Form (WISC-R), Children Depression Inventory (CDI), Suicide Probability (SPS) Personality DSM‑5‑Brief Form‑Children (PID-5-BF) scales used Results: Factors such as low birth weight, SPS total score hopelessness subscale, PID-5-BF other subscale scores (excluding antagonism) higher group compared control group. There no significant difference between groups terms CDI score. whose mothers smoked during pregnancy had frequency suicidal thoughts scores.
 Conclusion: pathologies found be higher, regardless level depression. While weight important etiology SLD, exposure smoking risk factor child’s ideation pathologies.
